Rental Agreement — general terms

It exists only to build and test the agreement-generation mechanism (merging this boilerplate with a specific booking's real data) — nobody should read this as an actual legal document, and nothing below should be relied on or enforced. 1. [PLACEHOLDER CLAUSE — Condition] Renter would agree to return the item in the condition received, ordinary wear excepted. 2. [PLACEHOLDER CLAUSE — Liability] Renter would be responsible for loss or damage beyond ordinary wear during the rental period. 3. [PLACEHOLDER CLAUSE — Late Return] Late returns would be subject to terms not yet defined. 4. [PLACEHOLDER CLAUSE — Deposit] Any security deposit terms, if introduced, would be defined here; none are collected at this time. 5. [PLACEHOLDER CLAUSE — Dispute Resolution] Real dispute-resolution language will be added once drafted by counsel. When the attorney's actual rental-agreement language is ready, it will be inserted as a new version and marked current — every agreement already generated against this placeholder (v1) keeps referencing v1 exactly as generated; it is not retroactively rewritten.
